FREE Medication Administration Aide Training
Job Type Full-time, Part-time Description St.
Dominic Villa , an Illuminus Community, is located among the rolling hills of the picturesque driftless region in southwest Wisconsin, just south of Platteville and a short 10-minute drive from Dubuque, Iowa.

Dominic Villa offers long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehab to older adults and is a truly peaceful place to live and work.
We are looking for compassionate and kindhearted healthcare professionals who already have their CNA certification and are looking to further their health care career by becoming a Medication Administration Aide.
The individual would be enrolled or looking to enroll in a Medication Administration program.
We will help train you! Hiring bonus available Shift Differential Available for PM and NOC shifts Full-time, part-time and casual openings available Schedules:
AM, PM and NOC shifts available.
All shifts require every other weekend and a holiday rotation.
Responsibilities Preparing and administering medications to residents under the direction of RN/LPN.
Supervising medication resident self-administration or performing medication reminders.
Accessing Medication Administration Record (MAR) to verify the right person, drug, dose, route, and time against the resident's record.
Appropriately documenting vital signs, interventions, or other pertinent data related to medication administration Maintaining resident confidentiality.
Reporting any issues to the supervising nurse.
Assisting residents with ADLs (Bathing, Dressing, Oral Hygiene, Toileting, Baths.
, etc.
).
Maintenance of accurate documentation, charting and adherence to company and HIPPA policies.
Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Certification required.
Certified by the State of Wisconsin for medication administration (or ability and willingness to obtain through a program with our help).
Maintained working 100 hours as a Med Admin Aide and 4 hours of medication training per calendar year since completing program.
One year of CNA experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities/Nursing Homes Commitment to quality programs and services for the residents/patients/clients.
Excellent communications and human relation skills.
Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
Ability to relate well to the residents/patients/clients, family members / personal representatives.
Ability to collaborate with all internal and external customers.
Commitment to quality programs and services for the residents/patients/clients.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions and exhibit flexibility when needed.
Ability to hear communication and communicate verbally, visually and in writing with staff and residents.
