This position will learn multiple bakery production jobs, many of which are machine operator positions.
Responsibilities include the consistent production of a high quality product in a baking facility while incorporating safety and sanitation standards.
This position is committed to ensuring the best quality products, excellent customer service by following good manufacturing practices.
Performing various entry-level positions including:
Loading and unloading pans from production lineLoading and unloading oven and/or proof boxDumping waste bucketsAssisting with other positions as assigned by supervisorFilling in for absent positions in production or packaging areasTaking appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality systemResponsible for reporting and taking necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurringResponsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan, the Food Quality Plan, and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party auditsPerforming any and all other duties as assigned- Must be available to work any and all shifts assignedHigh school diploma or GED equivalentAble to communicate and work effectively with all employeesAble to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production lineAble to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as stack and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
Ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shiftWilling to work irregular and/or rotating shiftsAvailable to work holidays, weekends, and rotating schedules as frequently required.
