General Laborer/Painter
Located in Dubuque, IASalary:
$16-19/hourA local company is looking for a General Laborer/Painter to join their team.
The General Laborer/Painter will be responsible for assisting with various construction-related tasks, and prior experience in construction or a related field is strongly preferred.
This is a full-time position starting at 7:
00 AM.
Responsibilities:
Assist with painting tasks, including preparing surfaces, applying paint, and cleaning up afterward.
Operate a sander and brush effectively and safely, following established guidelines.
Carry out general labor duties as directed, such as lifting and moving materials, cleaning work areas, and organizing tools.
Learn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Prior experience in painting is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Familiarity with using a sander and brush.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Possession of a valid driver's license is beneficial but not required.
Strong preference for candidates with previous experience in construction or a related field.
Excellent work ethic, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $16 to $19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
