Service Technician

Located in Dubuque, IASalary:

Night ShiftsPurpose:
Maintain, repair, and enhance plant service systems including boiler, compressed air, and refrigeration, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Minimize breakdowns and contribute to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and improve plant service systems.
Report to Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and follow the maintenance planner's assignments.
Collaborate with engineers and vendors as needed.
Perform layout work for projects.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
Record and retrieve information on computers.
Physically lift objects (75-150 lbs) and work in demanding environments.
Apply welding, electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration/hydraulic skills.
Occasionally assist apprentice millwrights or production helpers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
Experience in maintenance, repair, and Plant Service systems.
Computer proficiency.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical endurance for demanding tasks.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
