Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opportunity

MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an experienced and Board-Certified PM&R physician to join our Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit located in Dubuque, Iowa.

The idea candidate would have experience managing medical cases and be a great team player who is comfortable working with an interdisciplinary care team including nurses, physicians, and therapists.
The schedule for this full-time opportunity is Monday - Friday, which includes 36 patient contact hours per week.

MercyOne Dubuques Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit has been providing the community comprehensive rehabilitation for over 35 years and is currently a 9-bed department including an independent living apartment.
The unit has the potential for immediate growth up to 17 beds.
Patients on the rehabilitation unit range in age from 18 years to geriatrics.
Common diagnoses seen on the unit include stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, Guillain Barre syndrome, Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, major multiple traumas, cardiac & orthopedic conditions, and other conditions causing impairments in functional areas.
