Project Manager, Logistics/ Warehousing
Location: Dubuque, IA or Kansas City, MO
I'm seeking Project Manager candidates with strong Logistics and Warehousing experience.
This is NOT an IT Project Manager Position.
In this role you will lead a team in developing and implementing a new and comprehensive warehouse and logistics plan for a midsize manufacturer with a strong US presence (multiple warehouse and distribution facilities across the country). Members of the team will include people from logistics and transportation, engineering, human resources, finance, and information systems.
Other responsibilities
The creation of the overall project plan for senior staff approval and its execution.
Management of day-to-day task assignments and plan maintenance.
The initial project planning and execution is expected to last 2
years. It is expected that this person could move into an Operations Management role post project completion.
Required Expertise and Experience
MUST HAVE - Project Management experience in Supply Chain Related Implementation Projects
MUST HAVE - Warehouse Operations Experience
PMP certification preferred
4 year degree - Business Admin, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Mgt, required
