Area General Manager - Industrial Packaging
Georgia-Pacific is currently recruiting an Area General Manager for our industrial packaging facilities located in Sheboygan, Dubuque and Oshkosh.
Responsibilities:
Set and align priorities and develop strategies that support a market focused vision for multiple locations
Profit and loss accountability for multiple locations
Direct responsibility for commercial excellence Motivate operations leaders at multiple sites to achieve operational, compliance and safety excellence
Ensure compliance with applicable governmental regulations, GP standards and site practices
Find and capture opportunities to innovate and profitably grow
Build on existing and develop profitable new relationships with customers
Develop and coach direct reports including Area Sales Managers and Director of Operations
Coordinate with capabilities to achieve business goals
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher;
A minimum of 5 years post-college experience to include:
o A minimum of 3 years with leadership responsibilities.
Preferred
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years corrugated box or other plant management experience
Experience with business to business sales growth responsibilities
Mid to senior level operations leadership experience
Demonstrated success in building and sustaining effective business relationships
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
