Description:
Full-time, 10-month position. 40 hours a week starting second week of August-May (44 weeks total). Will work Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm with 1/2 hour lunch.
Responsible for providing secretarial and clerical support to Academic Departments. Types/keyboards and assembles letters, memos and reports. Answers questions and directs telephone calls and visitors. Prepares documents. Assembles and maintains statistical data. Performs and oversees specific projects and programs as assigned.

Duties:
Process mail for division.
Answer and place appropriate telephone calls for the division.
Schedule special facilities and programs for division.
Report building problems to Maintenance or Physical Plant.
Create portal announcements.
Maintain copier, printer and fax machines.
Maintain and organize storage rooms.
Process check requisitions, advances and PO''s.
Field budget related questions.
Order supplies for division.
Obtain receipts and process monthly expense reports.
Type reports.
Maintain faculty schedules in Outlook.
Make appropriate arrangements for new faculty members.
Answer faculty questions.
Assist with program review.
Assist in preparation and distribution of course material.
Maintain availability of classrooms.
Support J-term travel, paperwork, etc.
Enter division course schedules for Registrar.
Communicate with Registrar on class schedules.
Supports the mission and vision of the College and respects the College''s Catholic tradition.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Two to four years of general secretarial experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Groove.
Good knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures. Good knowledge of English, grammar, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty members, students, professional staff, administrators and vendors. Ability to handle confidential work with tact and discretion. Ability to adapt to work pressure and meet deadlines. Good organizational and self-management skills. Ability to continue professional development.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
