Heartland Financial has an opportunity for a Treasury Management Project Manager to join our team in Dubuque, Iowa.
The Treasury Management Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing all of the technical and project management functions within the Treasury Management line of business. This will require a high level of Treasury Management product and business processes as well as project management methodology.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing all Treasury Management projects according to timelines, milestones and budgets
Define the project objective, scope and project plan following the Heartland Project Methodology.
Identify and validate the key business requirements to ensure that they are in line with the company's vision and mission.
Conduct feasibility studies for new proposed systems.
Produce requirement definition documents and determine the cost benefit analysis as needed.
Understand and analyze the ROI of all assigned projects.
Present and lead a Proof of Concept
Design dataflow diagrams for the new proposed system(s).
Lead cross-functional business process re-engineering teams and continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate with other experts to deliver software that is business oriented.
Evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open source components, and the system architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements.
Create functional requirements in use cases. Coordinate requirement walk-throughs and sign-offs, verifying with representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray business needs.
Produce appropriate reports from the analysis.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field
5 years experience managing Treasury Management Projects
Strong knowledge of Treasury Management and a working knowledge of the business customer products and services such as online baking, positive pay, ACH, Wires and lockbox
Knowledge of project management methodologies, concepts, practices and procedures
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Ability to work closely with multiple software vendors on product design and implementation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Treasury Management vendors such as Bottomline Technologies, Fiserv, Fundtech and FIS preferred
Occupational Certification:
CTP, PMP or AAP certifications preferred.
